The Boise State University Center for Orthopaedic & Biomechanics Research (COBR) is collaborating with a number of different businesses in the region to develop and provide innovative services for the Treasure Valley community. The common theme across these collaborations is the integration of COBR’s research capabilities with clinical and sport performance expertise in the Treasure Valley. Professional bike fitter Benjamin Stein, MS, from On the Bike, has teamed with COBR to provide an unique bike fitting service. Using COBR’s motion capture capabilities, On the Bike can perform a complete biomechanical analysis of a cyclists riding technique with the goal of enhancing the riders comfort and performance.
